Gotta love the blues. Good honest gut-bucket feel-good music.
Blues festivals, blues jams, anything blues. It's the roots of rock and roll people, not some guy sitting on his front porch moaning with a guitar (well, maybe sometimes). I'm a card-carrying member of the excellent Blues Society of Central PA. I travel all over for my work and I have to say their Thursday night electric blues jam at the 40 & 8 club in Harrisburg is the best (they have a monday acoustic jam too). I've been recording some of the jams, here are links to some great juke-joint smokey bar music (although, listening to this in your barcalounger is nothing like being there, shame).
